The British are mad about curry - or Ruby Murray in Cockney slang.  Vindaloo, vindaloo, vindaloo was England's battlecry at the 1998 World Cup and chicken tikka masala is supposedly the nation's favourite dish.  Alkarim Jivani investigates how curry came to be so intimately linked with the British sense of identity.
